When I find myself up down and all around
These thoughts these feelings
I have learned I can redirect my attention
Into the power in my palms
Just to find a sense of calm
To remind myself – I Am
Simply Being
& There's no sense in striving to
Solve the imaginary puzzle of it all
In an attempt to unlock a Truth unhidden
We are
Simply dreaming
Of becoming
The intricacies of our creativity
All the while held in the vast
Canvas of Being
Hide out & find out
All that we're hiding from is within us
When we face the mirror,
tell me what do you see
If it's fear, let it disappear now
Hold up your palms and
Feel what is here
but Before you name your desire
Feel they're already here
Tune into your gratitude
Why not make it your primary attitude
So you say you want to be free & happy
or do you want to be right
righteously bound to the dream
of your own imagining
I tell you but I do not expect you to believe it
so I'll take it to the field and I feel it
& yes gratitude is my key
even when facing adversity
if I can smile in the heart and appreciate
what I have magnetized into my experience
just to experience
what it means to be
the courageous fool
Stepping right out into the unknown
Gonna find out what I am
ready to be shown
& I set up all these obstacles in my life
Just for the fun of overcoming
then I can smile when I'm grieving
Not just when I am receiving your love
I can smile when I'm leaving
what I have outgrown (behind me)
I can smile when I leave this earth below me (flying free)
I can smile when I remember that in every moment we are in birth
in birth & in love
on this earth & above

All that we are expressing from within us
